In the artlab:

art lab is a venue for all artists who are pushing the boundaries of medium and form; artlab is a gallery space dedicated to installation, time based media, sound and light; artlab is not afraid to showcase the fruit of visual experimentation; it does not require a 'finished product' or an 'established artist'.

The Permanent Collection

The Krasl Art Center collects contemporary sculpture. This focus was established shortly after the art center opened in 1980; it was deemed important to form a highly focused permanent collection that would attract people to its site and uniquely set it apart from other statewide and regional arts institutions. The community in which the art center is located continues to foster cultural pride and civic engagement via its commitment to public sculpture. The KAC builds upon this tradition, by both complementing and advocating for the area's collection of public art and monuments.
