Art Talks & WorkshopsArtists on the SoapboxFriday, February 22, 5:45 pm, free KAC will offer members the opportunity to speak about their work at the opening reception with the return of last year’s popular Artist on the Soapbox gallery talk. Be sure to attend this lively, fun event and prepare to be impressed by the wealth of talent that resides in our community. Critique with Dan Bare and Hoon LeeSaturday, February 27, 10:00 am–noon Ceramic artists of all experiences are invited to participate in semi-private critiques with select artists currently on view in the KAC galleries. Sign up for a 30-minute session which will be shared with no more than five artists. Bring along a selection of your artwork are receive constructive comments from these experienced artists. Function and non-functional artwork is accepted. Free for KAC members; $20 per non-member Influence and Inspiration through Generations: Contemporary Ceramics RoundtableSaturday, February 27, 12:30-2:30 pm Ceramics is an ancient art form, having begun as early as 10,000 BCE. Bring a sack lunch and join the exhibiting artists for a discussion on what inspires creativity and how influences change over time. All opinions, thoughts and comments are respected in this open format discussion. Free. RSVP appreciated.
